Maggie put together this cute and innovative journal project that is like two layouts in one! The middle mini-page that you can see being turned in the project photos is made in the style of a 3x4" pocket-page card. On one side, Maggie embellished a photo of her son using a vellum arrow frame and cardstock arrow and hello from our
That Arrow Card Die Set. On the other side of the mini-page she has some cute typewriter journaling that is one of her signature design elements. Between these, she sandwiched strip of white paper which she also stuck under the photo background on the right-hand side of her journal to add the flippable mini-page. Maggie positioned the 3x4" picture so that when the page is first turned, the viewer sees her son standing on the dock, but when the mini-page is turned, he's jumping into the lake! This is such a cool way to tell a story and bring movement into a memory keeping project!
The two fullsize pages feature cute sentiments about getting away from technology that are part of the
Sassy Vacation Memories Stamp Set. On the right, she stamped directly on her photo where the background was smooth so the words are easy to read. The left-hand page includes an adorable map image from the same stamp set as well as the same hello die-cut.
