Rainbow Candles
    Rainbow Candles
    By Teri Anderson

Want to add a rainbow of color to your next card? Here’s how to use a colorful masking technique.

Mask off the bottom two-thirds of a story card with sticky tape. Next, stamp a row of candles, stagger them up & down, keeping the bottom portion of the candle on the tape. This gives a sense of movement to the card. Create the rainbow by using two pieces of sticky tape. Line up the tape pieces parallel to each other with a small space in between, sponge ink into the open space. Move the tape pieces down the card to create new open spaces. Sponge a new color of ink into each space. Repeating these steps with each color of the rainbow to complete the effect. Stamp a sentiment onto each color. Add a couple gems to your card for a finishing touch. Have fun at the party!
