Celebrate Stripes
    Celebrate Stripes
    By Teri Anderson

Bring a rainbow of color to your next project with this masking technique.

Start with white cardstock. Place two pieces of low-tack tape across the white cardstock. Leave a narrow, open space between them. Sponge ink into the open space. Move both tape pieces down the card, creating a new open space. Apply a different ink color. Repeat these steps until you have a rainbow. When the rainbow is finished, apply the low-tack tape at the top and bottom of the rainbow and stamp a collage of words over the rainbow. You could make a word collage from the stamps in Smile Borders or Birthday Borders. (In this example, the collage uses the Block Party stamp which is exclusive to our Time to Celebrate class being offered at select scrapbook conventions this year. Visit the Classes section on the website for more information on this class.)
