Making Friends With Gradient Color
Gradient color is such a hot fashion and home décor trend! If you don’t know what that is or you want
to learn inexpensive techniques for creating gradient color on your paper craft projects then come take this class. At the beginning of the class, you get to choose whether you want to do a pink/brown or blue/brown project. Each student will receive a friendship-themed stamp set that includes words, images, and background patterns. Your class kit also includes supplies such as 12x12 FUNdamental Technique Tiles (“chipboard”), cardstock, ink pads, and twill tape to complete two 12x12-inch layouts.
During the class, you will complete key project design elements while learning innovative inking, sponging, paper layering, and stamping techniques. The full color step-by-step instructions will let you step the project up or down to match your skill level and let you assemble the project and add photos at home. You will leave class with spectacular projects and new techniques you will be eager to use on all of your paper-crafting projects.
Supplies: Paper trimmer, scissors, traditional adhesive, extra-strong adhesive (such as Zip Dry, Glue Dots, or red double stick tape), dimensional pop dots or foam squares, wet wipes, brown ink (not distressing ink), and a clear block that is approximately 2x3-inches in size.
