What a beautiful little girl and a beautiful layout!
Eileen used a number of techniques to
showcase the photo. She started by choosing ink
colors that
match and complement the colors in the photo. She
inked the entire outer FUNdamental Frame with
light yellow ink.
On top of the yellow, she stamped red flowers and
green leaves to match the little girl's dress. Then
Eileen used black ink to stamp the outline flower and
leaf images. To make the flowers and leaves sparkle,
Eileen used Stickles.
The inner black FUNdamental Frame was also a two-step
process. Eileen inked the entire frame with bright
green ink. Then, she painted over the green frame with
black crackle paint, leaving a few spots on the frame
in green to provide contrast.
Eileen stamped the layout title using black ink. She
colored in the wisps in each stamped letter with a
red glaze pen.
