Happy Birthday
By Kris Chirhart

Isn't it nice to just sit and look out the window? And wouldn't it be nice if you could see a scene like this! To make this window card, Kris started with a square piece of white cardstock. She stamped the branches at an angle to create a breezy feeling. Then she punched a circle out of a post-it note and stuck it to the cardstock where she wanted the sun to be. She lightly sponged ink around the post-it circle. She removed the post-it note and stamped the sentiment.

To create the "window", Kris cut the stamped white cardstock into four smaller squares and matted them on black cardstock. She stamped background words on her card base and then adhered the "window" to the card base. She added the butterflies and pearls to finish the scene.
